Can One Return To Work After Being On Pacemaker Post Heart Attack?

i had a heart attack, hosptiize and had a paceseter or device(icu) cadiologist said was permannty diabled and he said only for ten year and the nurse in his office told me people arevabe to work. i very confuse if i am at risk going back to work

We need some more details to give an adequate opinion. For example, what is the left ventricular function after the heart attack, how old are you and what kind of work do you do, your coronary angiogram is normal or not, etc.
But we know one thing for sure, pacemaker implantation alone is not a contraindication to work.
So it depends on other factors the decision to work or not.
