Can Non Penetrative Sex Lead To HIV Transmission?

Hello, I have a quick question. 72 hours ago I had a sexual encounter with a guy (I am gay). He told me he was negative but after we fooled around, he told me he's positive. I said "no your not" and he reaches in his bag and pulls out his altrla(spelled incorrectly) and I was shocked. He did oral sex to me, I didn't give him oral, we didnt kiss, but he did put his dick in my anus just the head for less that 2 minutes. Then I put the top of my head in him for less than two minutes. Both of us didn't ejaculate in the anus. We both had lube BUT WAS NOT WEARING ANY CONDOMS. I went to the clinic the next day told them my story and they said they couldn't give me the pep. I am very stressed and scared. Can you please tell me what are the chances of me getting hiv/aids?

Hi
Thanks for your question
There is a chance of contracting HIV in your case as the opposite person is HIV positive and you had anal sex.
PEP should be started with in 72 hours of exposure to high risk and later it is not so effective.
To know your HIV status at early stages you can undergo RT- PCR( reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction) which can detect even in early stages.
Symptoms appear generally after 6 months of contracting infection
Hope I have cleared your doubt's all the best and hope for the best

hi
through the test we can not say how you got HIV.
but my advice is to go for a treatment and life can be prolonged as long as possible.
if you are a resident of INDIA then please consult a Medical officer at a near by ART( ante retroviral therapy centre) centre where we can get tested for CD4 counts basing on which we can get treatment.
At present if CD4 counts are less than 350 then we should start treatment immediately.
you will also receieve the advice regarding diet and all other oppurtunistic infections.
a very good treatment regimens are now available which will prolong the life.
hope i have cleared your doubt and all the best
