Can Muscle Weakness Caused After Taking Lamictal For Cerebral Palsy, And Epilepsy Be Treated?

I have cerebral palsey (ataxic), epilepsy and a Babinski Response that is always present. In 2006, I was prescribed Lamictal, and immediately the CP became very much worse with extreme muscle weakness, falling (without losing consciousness), unable to use stairs and almost complete loss of muscle tone to where I was unable to walk on carpet at all. I was taken off the Lamictal but all the weakness remained extreme. Was it the Lamictal? Just a coincidence?
