Can Metal Allergy Lead To Non-union Osteotomy Of Bones?

Hi! I broke my wrist a year & half ago. I have had 3 surgeries , but none to be successful to heal. The last surgery, they took all hardwware out, 2 plates & six screws, due to the fact a screw was protruding through skin. The plates were titanium, but not sure about screws, one was even broken in arm. I have an allergy to metal. Could this be the cause of my non-union osteotomy. Thankyou, Nancy
