Can Meningioma Cause Urinary Incontinence And Depression?
my wife is suffering from chronic UTI while under treatment on Dec 2009 she developed slurring of speech she was admitted at Manipal Hospital. They detected a small meningioma of 2cm size.they suggested operation of it.within few days she started developing catatonic Psychotic depression and she was admitted at St Johns Hospital and was there fopr about 9 months.she was on rhyle tube feeding months and was catheterised months.later they gave 5 ECTS.she became better and concious and started eating and talking herself she is disharged on 30th Oct 2010 from there on her request. At home now she started fear of hospitalisation again and has confused behaviour and insensitive to daily issues and clings to me her husband every minute and has constant fear of further hospitalisation.she cant be managed at home.So plan to get admitted at NIMHANs.Can her abnormal behaviour is due to That mengioma or purely due to Depression?or Is iher urinary incontinence due to brain problem. Can her problem be solved in your Hospital?I feel so sad and no hospital could solve it and bring her back to normality
