Hi,
Eptoin should not be abruptly stopped and instead the dose should be tapered off over a period of 4-6 weeks. I have also noted that Tab. Levipil was started while he is having severe depression. Worsening of depression has been noted with the usage of levetiracetam, the main content in levipil. Please seek a neurologist's opinion again before making changes in the medications. Another alternative could be carbamazepine.
