General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The prognosis would depend on the cause of the neurological deficit. Detailed neurological examination both sensory and motor of lower limbs along with reflexes and nerve conduction studies as well as MRI spine may be needed to look for the cause and exact prognosis regarding possibility of recovery can be suggested thereafter.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
