ENT Specialist 's  Response
hi and thanks for the query,
when the eustachian tube is blocked there is intermittent pain in the ears.
this tube connects the nose and ears.
tube gets blocked usually due to infections and allergies in the nose.
please see an ENT specialist to know the cause of the block of the tube.
till then you can instill decongestant nose drops like otrivin.
3 drops 3 times daily for 5 days. it will oipen the tube.
regards,
Dr Rajkishori.
