Can Intercourse With Cancer Patient Cause HIV Transmission?

i always have safe sex interactions i briefly dated a guy last summer that i just found out was hiv positive the only contact we ever had as deep kissing, sept to dec i dated a guy we had a few safe encounters 1 where condom broke is it possable i am a hot of hiv? the guy i kissed was also in chemo of cancer dose that make me more able to have been transmitted the virus

thank you for query.kiss does not transmit HIV unless there is abrasions or ulcers in the oral cavity.if protected intercourse then you need not worry about HIV.Cancer does not increase susceptibility of HIV.but as there is further suppression of immune system there is chances of HIV viral load to be more .so if there are abrasions then there is chances of transmission more.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
