Can I Take Rigevidon Straight After Taking Last Pill Of Microgynon?

Hello, im on my 7-day break from microgynon and i got prescribed rigevidon instead. was i suppose to take rigevidon straight after taking last pill of microgynon or is it ok to have 7 day break because they both contain same ingredients?? its already 3 days gone after my last microgynon pill and im not sure what to do now with rigevidon?? i do not want to risk getting pregnant. thank you

Hi,

You were on microgynon (phasic pill), then stopped taking pills for seven days.

Start your rigevidon on the eighth day, whether you are bleeding or not. This should be the same day of the week as when you took your first pill.

There is no breach in contraception and there are no chances of you getting pregnant.
