Can I Have Fertomid From The 2nd Day Of My Period?
hi i am trying for pregnancy . i have regular periods a cycle of 28 days. my doctor has prescribed me fertomid 50 mg 2 tablets started from 2nd day of period (2-6). is it right time to have tablets on 2-6. doesn t it a high dose. i am bit confused which day is best to take fertomid.

Please do not worry. The dose is slightly on the higher side but dosing schedule is correct. Take it from day 2.
I prefer to start from 50 mg every day for 5 days as the initial dose and then adjust as per response. Many women do not need more than 50 mg. So please discuss this with your doctor and then start treatment.
Also take folic acid 5 mg daily [ if you have already started it ignore this line] to prevent brain defects in baby
