Can High Cholesterol Lead To Abdominal Pain?

Hello. Sorry for disturbing. I have an abdominal pain.. down in the left and up in the right...feeling like a liver pain. My gall bladder was removed 3 years ago..and since then my digestion is very quick...and it s like some kind of irritable colon.I was to see a doctor last week. My blood tests are good..meaning the liver, kidney, infections, blood sugar...just my cholesterol is big 7.1. I have to say that I have ulcer too(lucky me). I took some medicine with mint oil ..with no result. Now I am taking colospasmin..and it s better..no pain in the left...just the 1 in the liver area. What can it be? I need some help...because I have this pain for more then 2 month. Thank you in advance. Laura

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
High Cholesterol can not cause an in abdomen.
You have pain in abdomen for 2 months.
I would suggest you the following . First of all you have undergo the tests as you are suffering from Abdominal pain for the last 2 month. ::
Ultrasonography
CT scan of abdomen to rule out Gastrointestinal Cancer.
blood, urine and stool tests
Enteroclysis to see if there is an Intestinal Obstruction.
The pain in the left can be due to Colitis or Irritable Bowel Syndrome IBS and the one in the right upper can be due to liver problems although the liver functions tests may be normal .
