Can Head Injury Result In Pins And Needles Sensation In Arms And Chest?

when I bend my neck forward, ie putting my chin on my chest, I get pins and needles down both arms. This has been going on for about 4 weeks. Back in July I suffered a head injury when I fell from my bike. I had about 10 stitches. These pins and needles started during a long cycle ride in October

Hi,
There may be two possible causes of your symptoms.
As these symptoms appear related to neck movements, it may indicate that you have cervical spine disease. An MRI would help identify this.
Alternatively, if you are a frequent cyclist, the pressure of your grip on the handle bars can cause neurological symptoms of pins and needles. Although this would usually be confined to only the hands. You could try relaxing your grip a little.
