Can Genital Herpes Spread To Other Body Parts?
yes, i been diagnosed with genital herpes. i just want to know i have not have any outbreaks or anything. is it possible if it could move somewhere else to my body. i dont want to affect my kids if so. im not taking any meds just yet. what do you recommend for me to do right now.

Genital herpes is acquired by intimate sexual contact with an infected person. It is a localized infection. Outbreaks would be confined to the genital area and it won't spread to other parts of the body.
Herpes is not transmitted through fomites, therefore your children won't get it from you. The only way you could infect others is by sexual contact.
