Can Frequent Withdrawal Of Blood From Arm Vein Cause Any Disease?

Hi,
I want to know if frequent taking of blood from the arm vein will result in any disease? My wife complains of severe pain in her arm where blood was taken twice a day for 12 days some six years ago. She says she has this problem for quite some time.

HI THERE,
REPEATED POKING IN THE SKIN WILL CAUSE SOME DISCOMFORT. BUT GIVEN THE FACT THAT IT WAS SIX YEARS AGO WHICH IS CAUSING PROBLEMS NOW,
THERE ARE THINGS TO CONSIDER.
- AN UNRESOLVED HAEMATOMA WHICH IS COMPRESSING THE NERVES
- AN ANEURYSM CAUSED BY ARTERIAL PUNCTURE

DO THESE THINGS?
- GIVE WARM COMPRESS AND TRY
- LOOK FOR ANY SWELLING
- DOES SHE HAVE PAIN IN FINGERS OR FORE ARM?
- ARE HER PULSE PALPABLE

PROBABLY YOU MIGHT HAVE TO GO TO A GP FOR METICULOUS EXAMINATION
