Can Fever Be Connected To The Kink In My Neck?

About a week and a half I woke up with a kinked neck on my left side. It stayed sore for about 4 to 5 days. After that my left arm was sore like the muscle was tender I was still able to use my fingers and hand. Well few days go by I noticed I couldn t lift my arm higher then my chest. My upper arm was sore. Well today I woke up feeling like im running a fever could it caused by the kink in my neck?

Fever is part of the body's inflammatory response. It can occur in response to trauma, infection, surgery, allergies.

If it was related to the muscle/bony symptoms then it would have been more likely to occur early in the course of your illness though since it seems to be resolving, it is still possible.

At this stage the continued use of anti inflammatory pain killer, if this what you are using for your pain, would be recommended.
This includes medications such as ibuprofen, naproxen, cataflam.

It is possible that the fever may be related to another cause so you may need to monitor for any additional symptoms eg cough cold, stomach upset etc
