Can Diclofenac Sodium And Dihydrocodeine Be Cause Dizziness?

Hi I was prescribed diclofenac sodium and dihydrocodine for suspected costochondritis, but about an hour and a half after i took them I felt awful: dizziness, unable to concentrate, trouble speaking and thinking properly, etc. My husband said I went really pale and I was very cold. I also felt quite nauseous. Are these common symptoms, and which of the 2 drugs may have caused it? I'd like to be sure in case I'm ever prescribed them again....

Thank you

Hi,
Your symptoms are due to dihydrocodiene. These are common side effects. Do not take any more but you can carry on taking diclofenac.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger
