Can Cervicitis Causes Recurring Miscarriage And Difficulty In Conceiving?

My concern is i want to get pregnant again.i am 37 now and had my 3rd miscarriages.the father is my husband.before way back 2009 i had two fr my ex boyfriend.on is one month the other one is 3 mons. My 3rd miscarriged is going 3 mons the baby had no heart beat.it happened last yr.i got pregnant because me and my husband decided to work it out with a dr because i am having a hard time to get pregnant. I went to a dr and was seen to have a cervicitis coefficient.does this mean that i will have hard time getting pregnant? I really want to get pregnant again.what will i do.

Hi,

Cervicitis is a common term referring to the inflammation of cervix which may be caused by a number causes such as infections, allergies or physical irritation. Infection of cervix can spread to to the uterus and fallopian tubes and into the pelvic and abdominal cavity causing infertility and spontaneous abortions.

Cervical swab and examination of the vaginal fluid should be done.Based on the type of infection, antibacterial, anti-fungal or antiviral drugs will be administered.
