Can Blisters On Penis Shaft Suggest Herpes?

I have a small cluster of blisters at the base of my penis shaft. They don t hurt or itch. I have had it happen once before then a couple of days it s gone. I have been with my girlfriend for almost two years and she has never had any symptoms of an std. She has gives me a lot of oral pleasure but never anything comes of it . Just wondering if it is herpes or what?

Hi,

Blister may be because of herpes, bacterial infection or allergy. Usually herpes blisters are painful. Please do not worry. If the problem, persists, please get checked by doctor, as it's difficult to say without seeing.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy Dasgupta, OB & GYN Specialist
