Can Asthma And Chest Infection Be Related To Mirena Coil?

Hi I have the mirena coil inserted 5 years ago it was due to be changed in June this year, but I am also asthmatic and have recurring chest infections since January and had pneumonia in June and am on antibotics and steriods all the time. I was wondering if there is a link between the coil needing to be changed with the reduced hormones and my asthma getting out of control. Thanks. Sharon
