Hi Sir, I am writing concerning my mom. My mom is 72 and has always been very energetic. For a few months she has been losing weight fast, can t keep her food down,and really tired. My mom does not complain much,but recently has been telling me she is too tired, or doesn t feel good. She went to the Dr. and her thyroid is underactive. I dont know if she told me everything,because she has been kind of quiet and stares into space. She also coughs, and when I say she cant keep her food down, she says it only goes so far down her throat,and she can feel it going down as she eats. Most of the time she throw up. I am really worried that this may be cancer. she has smoked since I was small. I am not asking for a complete diagnosise, because I know that tests are neccessary for this,but I would like to know if this could be something else besides cancer, or if it sounds like cancer to you. I have to take her to a thyroid Dr. tommorrow,but just dont want to go into shock like I did when my baby died. Please answer soon. Thank you, Karen Riffe I thought this was free??
