Can An Inner Ear Infection Cause Headaches And Lightheadedness?

Been having headaches and light headedness off and on now for 2-3 months...also woke up a week ago and couldn t hear out of my left ear...went back to bed, woke up and then I could hear fine again. Head aches are not bad, just achy. Could this maybe be an inner ear infection?

Hello,

It can be an infection and inflammation of the middle or inner ear. You may require antibiotics to be treated.

You also should use antihistamines such as Benadryl or Cetirizine and also corticosteroids such prednisone to improve symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
