Can An Alcoholic Develop Shadow On An Adrenal Gland?

my 52yr old husband, an alcoholic with alcoholic hepatitis, gross ascites, jaundiced. clotting screening normal, hyponatraemia and raised total bilirubin (was 300 on admission, now under 100). recent 11week hospital admission following collapse and confusion, weight loss and poor balance. He had an Abdominal CT scan which revealed a shadow on an adrenal gland. what would this indicate? would it be related t his alcoholism?
I remain uncertain re his prognosis and extent of liver damage.

Hello,
1) He might be suffering from acute hepatitis on background of end-stage liver disease due to alcoholism
2) Prognosis is depend upon liver functionality to produce proteins and clotting factors; level of bilirubin, ascites
3) According to his laboratory data as written here roughly, he might have moderate-to-severe type of liver damage which has 2-year life survival 40-60%.
4) Shadow on adrenal gland might not be associated with liver disease and possibly due to benign adrenal tumor.
