Can Abdominal Pain, Heartburn And Nausea Cause Benign Cysts On Liver?

I recently had some bad abdominal pain. I went to my doctor who did a blood test, urine test, and ct scan. The ct scan showed 2 benign cysts on my liver and nothing else. For over a week since the pain I have had heartburn, slight nausea, and an achy stomach. I m very worried after looking up my symptoms and it pointing to stomach cancer all over. Would a ct scan shoe that?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

A CT abdomen would also take a look at the stomach and would show up any masses in this area.

Blood tests may also give an indication of cancer depending on the tests that you had done eg if you had a complete blood count and ESR or c reactive protein, this would also give information.
ESR and c reactive protein go up with inflammation in the body including cancer.

GERD ( gastroesophageal reflux) or peptic ulcer disease are more likely causes of your symptoms, these are more common.

An endoscopy may determine if this is the case.

I hope this helps
