Can A Nine Month Old Infant Be Given Antibiotics?

My baby is 9 months old and has fever for the last 6 days. fever is between 100 and 102..I have been giving Crocin every 4 hours and Meftal P every 8 hours..After medication, fever is low but again catches up after 5 or 6 hours...Today he has been diagnosed with chicken pox ...He has been given Cepodem syrup for 5 days..Can i start antibiotics for him at the age of 9 months..

Hi sirry to here that she has chicken pox but dont worry you can give her the said antibiotic with no fear as its safe for children but ask the does properly and discontinue only when its advice by your dr. Just dont worry she will be fine by comming week. Bye and take care.
