Can A Nerve Damage Cause Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Foot?

I have injured my ankle/foot. I believe it to be nerve damage from looking at pictures online. I had put my full body weight on my ankle. No pain just numbness and tingling. Its hard to walk because i cannot feel pressure on the soles of my feet near my toes
