Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I have read through your questions and understand your concerns. Yes, you can give him Tylenol for fever at eight hourly intervals. You said that he has COPD. If he shows any signs of respiratory distress like shortness of breath or wheezing, I would advise you to take him to the ER and get assessed. Meanwhile, raise the head end of his bed to help him breath properly and check his temperature at regular intervals.

I hope that answers your query. If you have any further questions, please feel free to write to me.

Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic.

Take care
