Hi there. I have been on trigesteral for 4 months then they switched me over to triphisal.I now feel nauseas...I just want to know could it be a side effect of triphisal? I would be very dissapointed to find out I got pregnant through the pill...worst case scenario.
Triphasil as like any other birth control pills can cause nausea and abdominal discomfort. These are due to action of hormones contained in the pills. The symptoms are more on the initial days of usage.
You can take antacids like Pantoprazole and Domeperidone for symptomatic relief. If you couldn’t tolerate Triphasil you can consult your gynecologist and plan for other alternatives.
Hope I have answered your query.
