Can Tramadol Be Taken For Sever Pain Caused By Lumbar Puncture?
Can i take tramadol 50 mlg every 12 hours for pain after lumbar puncture? I took it every 6 hours for 2 days. I don t like the side effects. No thanks, I am tired of the doctors to look the $ sign in the face of the patient. Here in USA doctor s became dehumanize.
Hi there. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic. Sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. 50 mg Tramadol twice daily is acceptable. But since it is a prescription drug I hope you have been cleared by your physician to take it. It is a habit forming drug so it is advisable to take it cautiously. As you said it has many side effects like drowsiness, anxiety, constipation so it is better to switch over to a different painkiller as soon as the severity of pain decreases. Also don't drink alcohol as long as you are taking Tramadol as it can be life threatening. I hope that answers your question. Please feel free to write if you have any other questions.
