General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I appreciate your concern regarding taking Tramadol and Norco together.
Both drugs are given in moderate to severe pain.
Tramadol is similar to narcotic analgesic and Hydrocodone, which is one of the constituents of Norco, is an opioid analgesic.
So in my opinion, taking the two medicines together is not recommended.
Using these medications together can increase your risk of seizures, breathing problems, and other side effects.
So I'll advise talk to your doctor if he or she has presrcibed it.You may need a dose adjustment.
I hope I answered your question.
Please feel free to ask another question if there is still a confusion.
Thanks,
Dr.Prabhas Verma
