Can Nebulizer Cause Side Effects On A Child?

Sir, My son is 3 and half years old and one day he has problem to take proper breath ( called PASLI CHALLNA) when i visit to doctor they told it is primary astham attcak and admitted him for 2 days given nebulizer and after discharge they start two inhaler named asthalin for every 4 hrs and budecort at the interval of 12 hrs. Kindly guide me the side effect of these inhaler for long uses and what should be precaution.

These inhalers work locally on respiratory system. So do not have major side effects.

Still do gargles after budesonide inhaler. Otherwise it can lead to fungal infection of throat.

Age of child is 3.5 years so doctor must have given spacer to inhale medicine. If not given, buy spacer which will make process easier for child.

Try to find out allergen which causes episode in child like dust, or some smell, some perfume, some food preservatives etc.. Maintain one diary to not down any provoking situation for breathlessness attack. And if found try to avoid that allergen.
