Can Mirena Insertion Cause Abnormal Bleeding?
Hello, I had the Mirena inserted on Dec 5th, it was the second day of my period. I had a spotting for a few days and then started bleeding more in the evenings. Now since yesterday I bleed all day, red flow and period like, even more red. Shall I be concerned?

Yes The intrauterine device some time causes the bleeding but that could be nonspecific and comes around within couple of days no need to worry about this if this is persistence then need to be seen, hope this information helps you have nice day.
