I am in LA on holiday from Australia. I used to suffer from vertigo many years ago and was prescribed Stemetil 10 mg tablets and suppositories which worked well. At the most I needed to take 3 tablets a day for maximum 3 days, I used the suppositories only if I had severe nausea or vomiting. I had an attack 2 nights ago and have used up the Stemetil ( 4 tablets & 3 suppositories) I brought with me. Am I able to get a prescription for this as can only buy Meclizine tablets over the counter and I m not sure if it will work as well. Is it a condition that I need to subscribe to your service to receive your advice? I am happy to pay a fee if you can authorize a prescription for Stemetil - I am returning to Australia on Sunday and have my own family doctor so a subscription to your service will not be of use to me.
