Hi, I m a physician in the Philippines. We have a 22/male with chronic kidney disease who developed MRSA bacteremia. Ongoing treatment with vancomycin, he developed left eye blurring of vision. Ophtha consult was done: highly considering cmv retinitis but our patient was negative for HIV. Is it possible that the MRSA bacteremia caused the retinitis?
