Can Legalon Be Taken For Elevated Liver Enzyme Levels?

My father has just been diagnosed to have hepatocellular ca post hepatitic. He is (+) for anti HBC IgG. Just today i found out my alt is elevated less than 2x the normal value. I dont have any alcohol intake.ive been taking pregabalin occasionally with eperisone, or paracetamol or ophedramine for my muscle pain. Had my hep profile taken before and theyre normal. Do i need to worried? Or is there anything procedures do i need to u dertake? Shall i take medications already? Essentiale vs. Legalon. Thank you so much.

Hello,

As you are taking NSAIDs and other medications which are metabolized in liver chances of rising of ALT level is higher. You can go for a liver function test. If any altered enzyme levels seen then definitive tests are there. Don't forget to consult a gastroenterologist with a liver function test report.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
