Can Isoniazid And Probiotic Supplements Be Taken Together?
I have latent TB and I am currently on isoniazid 300 mg with a b6 supplement daily . I was wondering if I should be taking a probiotic with this as well due to the fact that the antibiotic is so strong. I was also curious to know what the interaction of the medication with marijuana would be/can it be harmful? Thank you in advance.

Yes, they can be taken together.
There's no documented harmful interaction between Isoniazid and probiotic supplements. Beside, the useful beneficial bacteria present in probiotics
may produced B vitamins, including niacin, folic acid, biotin, and vitamin B6.
So, there's no harm in taking probiotics along with Isoniazid.
However, Marijuana may suppress the immunity thus may interfere with the treatment and recovery from tuberculosis.
