Can Ibuprofen Be Taken While On Metoprolol?

on opiod medicine for chronic cancer pain. Also, have neck/ back and joint pains. May have arthritis. I take Metoprolol for BP. will TAKING IBUPROFEN HURT ME? Seems like the hydromophone has stop relieving pain. I plan to see pain specialist b/4 wk is out. Oh recently Dr did procedure to freeze nerve in neck & lower back. Feels like everything in my body hurts worst.

You can continue ibuprofen while you are on Metoprolol, these two never interact with each other or does not affect the efficacy of each other. Keep in mind that prolonged use of ibuprofen can cause some side effects. You can try analgesiccs like Tramadol which is better tolerated.
