Can I-pill Cause Delayed Menstruation?
Hi, I had my last period in the 25 of June, so my next period is scheduled for the 22nd of July. I took an I pill on the 17th of July, it s 23rd July today and I haven t gotten my period as yet. Will the Ipill delay my period, if yes then by how much time? When should I take a pregnancy test?

Understand your concern
Yes I pill can cause delay in the menstruation.
It contain high progesterone lead to prolongation of second phase of cycle.
Period can be delay by 7-10 days but it is not same in all women.
If period will be delayed by 12-14 days then go for pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy as I pill also has failure rate around 5-10 percent.
If pregnancy test will come positive then still you can terminate the intrauterine pregnancy by abortion pill under the advice of OBGYN gynecologist.
