Can I Contract Genital HSV1 From Infected Person Just By Touching Scrotum?

My girlfriend contracted HSV1 after I (male) performed oral sex on her vagina. She had breakouts on her mouth, vagina and hands. I currently have HSV1 of the mouth. One month later after breakouts subside, my girlfriend touched my scrotum with her hands. Is it possible for me to contract genital HSV1 from her touching my scrotum?

Just by touching herpes will not going to transfer. It will need body fluid contact either saliva, blood , semen. So if your girlfriend has just touched your scrotum , you are not suppose to get worried. But always wear condom whenever having sex with her. I hope you are taking acyclovir or other antiviral drug for face lesion.
