Can I Be Allergic To My Own Blood While Suffering From Leukemia?
I have leukemia and the last time I went for blood work he said my blood looked suspicious under the microscope. He said I might be allergic to my own blood and they are doing tests to see if I am. I have never heard of this before and I have looked on the web and have found nothing on this.. I just don't know about my doc now, do you think this is possible and have you ever heard of this before?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have autoimmunity against your own cells or some other cause. You should go for direct Coombe test. It comes positive in autoimmune hemolytic anemia. Just go for testing. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
