Can HIV Spread While Swimming?

I swam in the ocean with an open cut/bruise. one of my friends who is HIV positive swam with us in the ocean even though she was bleeding from a deep scissor cut. could i become infected with HIV since I had a cut/bruise while swimming in the ocean water with her?

Hiv can't be transmitted through water

Detailed explanation,
1. You mentioned that you have an injury with cut ends and you friend have hiv with deep bruising
2. Unless you are in physical contact with the bleeding deep cut with your cut surface you won't get hiv
3. In other words hiv can't be transmitted through water even when the water get contaminated with blood of hiv person
4. So you are safe and be happy. If you have doubt in mind then check your hiv status at the end of 6th week by TRIDOT test
