Can HIV Infection Occur Due To A Metal Wire Injury?

Hey Dr.
Actually,I really needs your experiences
Last month,I was in the gym,when I was using a tool (used also by others) To exercice my muscules,suddenly I sticked my back head with a metal wire lefted on this tool (It bleeds A very little little bit)
I really want to ask.From your experience what are the probability (percentage) of beeing infected by HIV
Plz,I am really worried and Afraid

Hi
With the situation you have described you have 0% of contracting HIV.
HIV virus do not generally survive in the open air so even though if it was used by HIV positive person also you can not get HIV.
HIV is transmitted by any sort of unprotected sexual activity with HIV positive person or by sharing needles or by blood transfusion from HIV positive person.
