Can GERD Cause Tightness In Chest And Throat?
Been dealing with tightness of my chest and troat now for about 3 years with no answers. I feel like its not my asthma bc it is a different feeling without any wheezing. I feel like it may be linked to GERD but not sure. Just feel really tight some days and not others..can't seem to figure out anything that helps or makes worse.

The answer to your query is- Yes , GERD can cause tightness of the chest. I I were your doctor i would avise to take a PPI like pantoprazole for 4 weeks. If symptoms still persist you will need further investigations.
