Can Familon Be Taken To Postpone Menstruation?

hi good morng..I got my period on 24th last months. For two months I am getting period on 24th regularly.Earlier I got adjectly on date but due to my thyroid problem now its irregular dates. I want to postpone my period this time as I am scared that I may get before 24th as I have some functions at home(21-23). I do have abdominal problem on periods. What kind of tablet should I take. Is Familon ok?Kindly suggest.

Femilon tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill. It is composed of Ethinyl Estradiol and Desogestrel. It is primarily used for contraception.
It would be ideal to use tablet containing progesterone only hormone like synthetic hormone 'norethisterone', to postpone the periods.
