Can Enbrel Or Xeljanz Be Taken For Rheumatoid Arthritis?

I currently take remicade infusions every two months for my RA, but it isn t stopping the deterioration of my hands. I play a lot of golf and my hands are really giving me fits. They are getting worse and I would like to know if Enbrel or Xeljanz or another option might be a better drug for me to stop the hands issue?mj

While on Remicade which is a biologic anti TNF alfa( Infliximab), you should also take Methotrexate to improve the outcome. After 6 months of Remicade and MTX no improvement, you can try other options like Enbrel( Etanercept), HUMIRA( adalimumab), SIMPONI( Golimumab) etc.
