Can Duvadilan Retard Be Taken In Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 7.5 month pregnant, my case is of placenta previa (Placenta is 1.8 cm away from internal OS). My doctor suggested me to take “DUVADILAN RETARD – 40 MG” for various reason like relaxation of uterus muscle, prevention of early delivery and to avoid bleeding due to placenta previa. She suggested to go for cesarean delivery to avoid any risk. We took second opinion from other doctor, she advised to stop taking “DUVADILAN RETARD” immediately as it may cause bleeding in case of placenta previa. Please advise me whether should I take this tablet or not and what are the chances of normal delivery in my case. (Other information: LMP: 01/03/2011, first pregnancy, age – 26 yr, ht - 5.2 ft, wt - 66 kg, gestational age – 29 weeks, baby wt – 1298 gms, other tablets recommended – Autrin & shelcal)
