Can Duphaston And Choriomon Be Taken Together?
Hello Doctor, My friend is 3 month pregnant now and she is taking Duphastone tablet twice a day along with choriomon 5000iu injection.She already had a miscarriage once before.So is there any complications in taking these medicines and for what purpose is she taking these so? Thank you

Hi, I think it is good to take duphaston and choriomon injection for her. Duphaston is a progesterone and choriomon is hcg. Both of them support the pregnancy. Generally we give it till 12 weeks after which placenta starts secreting adequate amount of progesterone and hcg to support the pregnancy. You can discuss with your doctor regarding this. May be she will be advised to stop it now.
