Can Calamine Lotion Be Applied In The Groin Area?

Hi, Can i put calamine zinc oxide lotion at my groin area?? To soothe the area?? I have terribly itching at my groin area ,scaly flaky and some bad odour.. i cannot stand from scratching it , only my scrotum area are the most ithcy. Is it a dangerous disease? Please advise me. Thanks.

Hi, I think that you are having a fungal infection in the groin area.Apply an Anti-fungal ointment twice a day.Take Fluconazole(200mg) once a week x4tabs.take an Antiallergic like Loratidine(10mg) at bed time for the itch.
