Can Bactrim Cure Gonorrhea Or Chlamydia?
I had unprotected sex 4 days ago and had been having burning right off the bat and redness and soreness. Then a day or so later notices some discharge which included blood. I work at an urgent care and did a u.a which came back with moderate blood and small leukocyte. Could it possibly be gonorrhea. If so a dr prescribed me Bactrim for me bc they thought it was a uti. Would Bactrim get rid of gonorrhea and chlamydia if it is either?

As you describe it may be due to any STI,while your symptoms have started after unprotected intercourse.
Bactrim is not used to treat STI ,it is very effective to treat urinary infection .
Hence in my opinion I would recommend you to take doxicycllini 100 mg ,BID for seven to ten days.
STI infection as gonorrhea and Chlamydia can be determined only by doing
swab of your discharges.
Be careful another time .
