Can Alfacalcidol And Metoprolol Be Taken While Suffering From High Creatinine Levels?

Hi, i was wondering if a male 87 yr old having a high creatinine level and been diagnosed K/C/O Dm/ HBP/ IHD /C/R/F and NOT on dialysis can take alfacalcidol 0.25 micromg capsules,cyclopan, metoprolol,fefol, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate,atorvastatin 20mg and actually experiencing some itchiness,and slight foamy urine, usually morning glucometer ranges from 5,6,and 7.1 and afternoon after food intake no nausea or vomiting ranges between 16, 19, and 22 where actual dosage of actrapid is administered intra muscular. BP is monitored to be between 11/6 to 15/9 and actually stabilised to his normal 12/7 13/8

Sorry to hear of your sufferings. In fact the drugs you mentioned can be safely used in these condition, its not only safe but rather important to take them specially the Alfacalcidol and statin. They both are necessary in chronic kidney disease. Metoprolol also can be taken and is necessary if some one suffers from ischemic heart disease.
